On May 11, 1975 an organization of people from Tulsa and northeast Oklahoma interested in Cacti and Succulents was formed.
Their purpose was to exchange ideas and experiences; to foster greater knowledge about plant development and cultivation; to encouage use of succulent type plants in public and private gardens through active support and participation; to promote plant conservation, protection and propagation of endangered species.
Now 32 years later, the club is still together and going strong!
